"Free" Lighting

Skylight Runs

Skylight runs are an excellent way to get additional light into your workspace without electricity. Our high quality, opaque skylight runs will allow immense light to enter your workspace without having to flip a switch.

This is really nice if you're just running in to grab a tool on the other side of the shop and the light switch isn't RIGHT THERE. When one is trying to be efficient, every step counts!

With the panels being opaque (not clear), it "diffuses" the light, spreading it out, maximizing its effect. Unlike a window that will allow direct sunlight in and focus its illumination on one main spot.

For example, take a flashlight, point it at the wall or ceiling with it turned on, of course. Now, place a glass ball or globe in front of the light. See the difference?

The indirect lighting of the diffused light not only spreads the light extremely efficiently but also reduces the "greenhouse effect", giving one light without the additional heat.

Many customers choose the skylight run over windows for security reasons. There's no window to break into and they are up high on the walls.

By using the skylight run vs conventional skylights on the roof, we can guarantee no leaks, ever!
